Heriot Watt University was founded in 1821, as a public research university and is located in Edinburgh, Scotland. Heriot-Watt University has five campuses across the world with 53 Approved Learning Partners and educational collaborative partners in 150 countries. It has one of the most diverse international student communities with one-third of the total students at the Edinburgh campus coming from outside the United Kingdom.
In the year 1990, the Edinburgh Business School had opened up its first online MBA course for students. The Dubai Campus of the university was established in the year 2005 and the Malaysia campus in 2014. Heriot Watt University was awarded the Queen's Anniversary Prize for the third time for its higher and further education in 2015.
Heriot-Watt University has a network of Approved Learning partners that comprises 15 overseas learning institutions in over 12 countries of the world. Based on recent available data, 95% of the graduates have been employed or are doing further studies within six months of graduation.

Study Pathway
The students will pursue a 48-72 weeks online mode of learning at the British University College. Upon successful completion of the BUC's International Graduate Programme SCQF Level 7 International Certificate in Business (equivalent to Year 1) & SCQF Level 8 International Specialised Diploma in Business Management (equivalent to Year 2), students will gain direct entry into the final year of the Degree programme and pursue the final year On-Campus at the university they have chosen. BUC’s International Graduate Programme (PG) consists of SCQF Level 11 International Professional Diploma in Business Management. The students will have to pursue a one year online mode of learning at the British University College. Upon successful completion, students will gain direct entry into the final year of the Master’s Degree programme at the university they have chosen. Upon successful graduation, the learner will be eligible to apply for a two-year (PSW) Visa as dictated under the current UK rules and regulations.
